Everything we publish is written for adults who want practical, honest advice — not hype. This page explains who writes our content, how it is researched and checked, and how to ask for a correction.
Articles are written by named editors and contributors. Each author has a page with their role, background and published work — you can reach it from the byline on any article. We do not publish anonymous advertorials, and we do not use fake personas to invent experience.
Guides draw on first-hand experience inside our community, publicly available research and conversations with members (used with permission and anonymised). We do not invent statistics, member counts or reviews. If a number appears, it has a source and a date; if we are unsure, we say so or leave it out.
Every article is reviewed by a second editor for accuracy, tone and compliance with 18+ standards. Health, legal and safety claims are checked against primary sources and are never presented as professional advice. Articles that need specialist input are flagged rather than guessed.
If something is wrong, tell us through the Contact Support link in the footer. We correct factual errors promptly, and material changes are marked with an updated date on the article. Silent rewrites that change the meaning of a published piece are not allowed.
Our sites are operated by an independent team and are not affiliated with Tinder, Bumble or any other brand mentioned in comparisons. Commercial relationships never change a verdict or a recommendation. Where a page includes an offer, it is labelled and the price is shown before you sign up.
For corrections, complaints about content or questions about this policy, use the Contact Support link at the bottom of every page. For account and billing help, log in — support is available inside the member area.
